Serving Your Party Pack

origin-earth=party-pack-1.jpg

This pack is a real “Celebration of Cheese” - there’s enough cheese in it for 30-35 people, if you’re having a “Come for a Glass of Wine and a Bite to Eat” type party. It also takes the stress out of deciding what to serve.

The cheeses we have chosen are five of our most popular: soft, creamy, mushroomy Camembert-style; our signature washed rind cheese Pink & White Terraces; semi-soft, creamy Takenga Blue; semi-soft, Dutch-style Takenga Gold; and our fabulous hard sheep cheese, Sleeping Giant plus there are some delicious accompaniments.

Having this amount of cheese to serve can be a little dauting, so we have put together this Guide to Serving Your Party Pack.

We suggest, the best way to serve the cheeses is to give each their own platter and accompany with suitable condiments – you pack will have one or two pieces of cheese, leave the cheese in the whole piece/s and accompany all with sliced crusty bread plus the suggestions below.

This how we serve our Party Pack:

Soft, creamy, mushroomy Camembert-style is perfect with Bonnie Oat Cakes, thinly sliced Fig Salame and fresh seasonal fruit – strawberries are a favourite when in season.

Pink & White Terraces with its soft supple texture, sticky orange surface and earthy pungent aroma this cheese just needs some sliced crusty bread and/or Bonnie Oat Biscuits

Semi-soft, creamy Takenga Blue is a great match with peppery rocket – pile the rocket on one side of the platter and the bread on the other side with cheese in the centre.

Semi-soft, Dutch-style Takenga Gold we like to team this with thinly sliced Pintxo, Bonnie Oat Cakes and thinly sliced apples.

Our fabulous hard sheep cheese, Sleeping Giant loves thinly sliced Damson Terrine, Bonnie Oat Cakes and roasted almonds.

Your pack includes a Name & Description of Cheese Card place these on each platter so that your guests know what they are eating.

You might also like to serve some dips to complement the platters we have got some great ideas over in the Recipes section if you are looking for inspiration.

After your party you may have some odds bits of cheese leftover, don’t waste these turn them into Potted Cheese.

We hope you and your guests enjoy our Party Pack.
